50th Annual GCBA Winter Rendezvous
Time to take a break from winter and look forward to a new boating season. What better way than coming out for some fun bowling and a great banquet! Last year we had a fabulous turn out. I hope all teams will be returning and encourage everyone to pass the word. You just can’t beat this for fun and entertainment during our “off” season. The more the merrier and, if you don’t bowl you can still come to the banquet!
Teams consist of five bowlers registered as Women’s, Men’s, and Mixed Couples. We’re seeing more and more Mixed Couples teams. Remember your friends are welcome even if they’re not a member of a yacht club. Scoring is handicapped based on your bowling average at this event. Trophies will be awarded at the banquet. You need not be an experienced bowler to have fun and you might just win a trophy.
Bowling dates are Sunday January 22nd and Sunday January 29th at the Freeway Lanes in Wickliffe off Euclid Ave near the I 90/RT 2 split. Same place as last year. Both Bowling dates are before the Super Bowl this year due to the late date of the game.

The banquet will be held at the Croatian Party Center in Eastlake on Saturday February 25th
And includes a premium open bar including bottled beer
Bowling and banquet cost $61 (discount for early response see entry form). Captains….please get your team’s money together and submitted before the first bowling date. One check would be best. The checks won’t be cashed until after Feb 1st. Extra banquet tickets are $43 each. The banquet is open to all, even if you don’t participate in the bowling. It’s always a fun evening!
Registration forms are mailed to all past Team Captains and Yacht Club Commodores. If you need extras just copy them or contact me. Note there is a discount on early registration. Refer to the team registration form.
Remember, if you don’t bowl you can still come to the banquet!
